The original BoDillaz home page was bland and there were no photos. The information in the top left corner is not well organized. There are several fonts displayed and the logo is cut off on the top and bottom.

There was a Locations tab on the navigation bar. I took this page out of the redesign because the same information is displayed on the home page.

The catering page was combined with the food truck. The restaurant does not cater with the food truck but there is a form on the site. There also a missing picture and the header on the page is out dated.

The colors were taken from the companies original logo. Bright blue as a primary color complements the vibrant red and green secondary colors. The background image is rattle snake skin to go with the restaurants south of the boarder identity. Frutiger typeface's line weight goes well with the logo.

The site was divided into five pages. The navigation bar is attached to the logo. The navigation bar position is sticky so the user can always access the pages while scrolling.

The home page contains important information that the majority of the users are looking for. It displays the restaurants phone number, address, and hours of operation. A popular dish is centered to entice potential customers. Their tag line is written across the food. I illustrated a ram skull that I took from a mural they have in the restaurant.

The menu pages are stacked for the ease of the user. There are images of fresh ingredients that they use in the restaurant.

The catering page form was coded using MAMP and PHP. I research what the average catering form asks the client. I narrowed the questions to Name, Email, phone number, date, time, number of people, any special diets, and a brief description of the event.

The food truck only runs five times a week so the page only displays the up coming five days. Each day displays the food trucks location and the hours that they will be stationed there. I illustrated two cactus's that I took from the restaurants mural. I made the dates the largest because the user is looking for the date first.

The about page has the owners bio that I wrote after sitting down with him. He was not comfortable with me photographing him so we agreed on a stock photo. The footer of each page has the Copy Right and links to the restaurants social media.
Turned mural from store interior into digital .png's to keep the brand cohesive.
