Using current technology, our product will not only increase an Alzheimer’s patients quality of life, but also put their caregiver at ease. EASE will be in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and provide the best care for both patients as well as caregivers throughout the entire process. Our product EASE consists of the EASE detachable hardware that works with a variety of our wearables for patients, and the smartphone app for caregivers. And for those with an Alexa, EASE also has an Alexa skill that provides at home support features.

Role & team

I was the lead experience designer on a team of four. The team consisted of two designers one business background and one engineer.

Problem

Patiences diagnosed with Alzheimer's slowly lose their independence as they progress through the stages of the disease.

research & discovery

Compiled a list of current industry leaders and features they offer. Learned more about Alzheimers and caretakers to better understand our users and stake holders. Interviewed a patient in the early stages of the disease and their caretaker to gain empathy and discover new insights.
